Alberto Ludeña is a seasoned film and media professional with over two decades of experience in visual effects, post-production, and global creative leadership. His contributions span critically acclaimed projects, including Barbie (2023), NBC’s sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica, and productions for HBO MAX and CBS Studios. Working with international teams, Alberto has cultivated a deep expertise in global filmmaking logistics and production landscapes.

As the author of The International Film Commissions Guide®, Alberto leverages his vast industry knowledge to deliver an indispensable resource for filmmakers. The guide offers practical insights into navigating production hubs, accessing tax incentives, and unlocking regional opportunities, empowering creatives to optimize their projects while ensuring efficiency and excellence.

Alberto’s research for the book involved extensive travel across Europe’s premier filmmaking destinations, including London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, Florence, and Rome. During his journey, he collaborated with local film professionals to gain firsthand insights into evolving industry trends. Combined with his professional experience in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York, his global perspective provides unparalleled depth to his understanding of regional advantages and emerging opportunities in production.

Beyond his work in production, Alberto has spearheaded creative branding initiatives for major networks such as FOX, Univision, and CNN en Español. He directed the visual identity for live broadcast events and oversaw creative services for flagship programming and promotions, earning widespread recognition for his innovative approach and impactful contributions.

Committed to lifelong learning, Alberto is a participant in the 2024 Harvard Business School BEMS program. He also holds a certification in Construction Project Management from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

An active member of the Visual Effects Society (VES), Producers Guild of America (PGA), and Writers Guild of America (WGA), Alberto is dedicated to mentoring emerging talent and fostering cross-cultural collaboration to drive innovation in entertainment.
